Earrings :There was a time when simple, stud earrings were the acceptable ear accessory for bridal jewelry. However, an elegant drop is now entering the race and changing the face of bridal accessories. You can even forgo a necklace if you select a sophisticated drop earring. Just keep it simple and not too large or gaudy
The next thing to consider is the cut of the neckline. A sweetheart neckline or a strapless dress can look good with or without a necklace. If you opt not to wear a necklace, then make up for it by wearing a fabulous pair of chandelier earrings. You can go with clear crystal for a sleek, modern look or make it a little more fun by adding a splash of color. Much of this will depend on your personality and the overall style of your wedding.
Your wedding jewelry should be a reflection of you and your personality. If you’re not a large, dangly-earring kind of girl, then stick to simple studs. It’s your day, so you need to wear what makes you happy, whether it fits the "rules" or not. If you’re going to spend money on jewelry for your wedding, you don’t want to just wear it once. Make sure that it’s something you can pull out for special occasions again and again.
Necklace : When selecting a necklace for your bridesmaid dress, less is more. Simple chains or strings of pearls work well. A chain or string of small beads with a simple pendant may also work. You have to consider the dress, the style and what the bride is wearing (you don’t want to out dress the bride!). Your best bet with necklaces is to stay away from large, chunky jewelry and keep it simple.
